Rear track width narrowing kit (-20mm)

This kit uses the BMW Z4 hubs to reduce the original Z3 rear track width by 20mm (on each side) to allow your wheels and tyres to sit inboard of the wheel arches. It fits all 6 cylinder cars.

Why do we have two track narrowing kits? Well… We offer two types of wire wheels, front laced and centre laced (see more here). This narrowing kit gets you a 20mm reduction which means the front laced wheels (6 inches wide) will sit within the wheel arches quite nicely. Being front laced means that your spinners will sit proud of the wheel rim.

The 7″ x 15″ centre laced wheels have a different offset so  with the other track reduction kit (quite a bit pricier) you get close to 40mm off the track and along with the wider wheels which still sit inboard of the wheel arches so too do the wheel spinners. There’s a lot more stuff involved / included in the other kit but still…

This kit includes a pair of the following:

• Z4 hub
• Modified rear disc
• Quality wheel bearing
• Caliper spacer

The discs have been turned down to the correct diameter and the spacers apply the correct offset to the calipers to avoid a lot of fiddling and the prospect of issues further down the road.
