Rear view mirror

This is a great little mirror. Another Grassbank design which marries original Z3 features with classic looks.

It’s compact, fits onto the Z2 windscreen mounted fixing blob, has a manual dipping function and just looks like it ought to be there.

Take great care in removing the original mirror with a firm twist without pulling or pushing it. Heavy handling can result in a cracked windscreen.

With the mirror safely removed from the windscreen undo the three M3 screws when the mirror is over a table. There are three spring metal rods in the base which you’ll need to re-use when attaching the base to the stem of our mirror

Your original Z3 mirror probably houses the central locking receiver so you’ll want to remove the electronics and put them somewhere safe, mine was pulled back down the left A pillar and fitted behind the dashboard glove box. Take care in removing the cable, I had to carefully use an angle grinder.
