ID Buzz cargo Kombi conversion rear seat bracket set. Includes all bolts and washers. You will receive the kit of parts shown in the main picture. All other pictures are for info only.
- Simple kit bolts direct to the VW chassis mount points that are already in place under the cargo floor.
- Professional solution made from 2mm plated fabricated steel with captive nuts welded in place for the top mount bolts. The fore and aft rails lock and over-bolt together to form a sturdy subframe that perfectly mates the VW floor to 4 hole clip-in/out type rails at the right height for the cargo floor (see pictures).
- Uses 10 off VW the M10 seat mount points (already in the vw buzz chassis) and 16 off M12 high tensile bolts for the seat rails (4 per rail)
- Works with OEM style click in/out seats and mounts so cargo bay is easily re-instated for big loads.
- Keeps Cargo bay floor for level loading. Rear headroom is 965mm from the back of the seat base to the roof (more than enough for most adults and definitely more that some other ID Buzz aftermarket seat options).
- You will need a 2+1 seat rear seat set from Citroen Dispatch, Fiat Scudo, Peugeot Expert or Renault Traffic. Be sure to buy with the clip in/out type with floor mounts. Seatbelts are often included too and these can be bought on ebay for less than £600.
- You will need to remove the rear floor as shown in the pictures. The molded black Floor support carrier will need trimming back in once the brackets are in place (easy cut with a handsaw), a couple of the vw metal bolt in floor supports need a leg trimming off and the cargo floor needs to be carefully jigsawed so it fits neatly around the new metal floor brackets. MEASURE TWICE and cut once. The metal brackets have nice plastic trim covers that clip over them to cover everything so this looks like a factory fitted Kombi when its all done.
- VW don’t fit the captive nuts behind the seatbelt mount holes so you will need some aftermarket race/rally/classic type backing plates and some patience to get them inside the C Pillars. The 2+1 seats include the centre seat belt and buckles for the two side seats.
