Designed to use the later BMW boot locks which have electronic release instead of fiddly ’Bear Claw’ locking systems we rate this mod as one that really helps to make the car usable as a daily driver. We fit two small release buttons that mimic number plate light screw heads and link them to the central locking, along with hydraulic struts to lift the boot lid. Comes with fitting advice and a wiring sketch. Lovely.
