We’ve recently remodeled our SNAP exhaust tips to bring them closer to the original and to increase the range of tail pipes that they will fit onto. The new tips are 20mm longer (now 270mm) and that added length has gone into the section that fits over the tail pipe. We’ve added a constriction around the neck to prevent the tailpipe from extending too far into the SNAP.

As with the previous version these items are made from Marine Grade 316L stainless steel which we then mirror polish.

Developed in the 60s and fitted to GT racers, the exhaust gases exit around the outside of the centre bore which is ventilated through the side ‘eye’ slots. At high speeds the centre bore causes a vacuum and draws the exhaust gasses out faster (at least that was the theory anyway!). A fabulous finishing touch but not for everyone’s budget, having said that we believe ours are probably the best priced on the market. We have recently re-tooled for this item to make it much closer in appearance to the original and this has helped us to keep the costs down.
