Heating and ventilation pack

Behind the scenes there’s plenty going on. No doubt quite a few people at BMW spent a lot of time and effort in designing the heating and ventilation system in your Z3. And we think they did a good job so why not take it forward and use it as intended?

Our heating and ventilation pack interfaces with all of the original Z3 system to mix and divert air where BMW originally intended it to go. The pack includes a heater control box holder which fixes snugly to the profile of our dashboard. Remove the Z3 heater knobs and the heater control box and fasten it into our holder before fixing our stylish heater control knobs onto the Z3 stems. Observe that the heater matrix holder also accommodates four Durite switches which you can use to control such things as the door windows, air con, hood, DSC or whatever takes your fancy. The point is you select the four functions that you want, you install the Durite switches then you cap them off neatly with our stylish period knobs.

We include:

• the metalwork to fix into the Z3 vent system
• the tubing to go between the Z3 vent and the new front centre vent grill
• the new front centre vent grill
• an illuminated label above the front centre vent grill, in Italian, which names the four buttons and states what the heater knobs do
• fibreglass air guides for the footwell
• the heater matrix holder
• all heater and switch knobs
